WordPress tracking plugin FAQ

Which WordPress sites can use the plugin?

The current WordPress.org edition requires WordPress 6.4 or newer and PHP 8.1 or newer. Review the current readme before installation because compatibility can change between releases.

How is tracking added to a page?

Add the [logistics_package_tracking] shortcode to a page, post, shortcode block, or compatible page builder. The plugin also supports documented shortcode aliases.

Does it provide continuous GPS tracking?

No. The map displays locations saved by a shipment operator. Continuous vehicle or driver GPS requires a separate telemetry source.

Does it require Google Maps?

No. Maps are optional. Administrators can disable maps, use OpenStreetMap, or configure Google Maps with their own browser API key and applicable Google billing.
