Website migration moves the application files, database, and related configuration to new hosting. Domain registration transfer changes the registrar that manages the domain registration. You can move a website while leaving its registration with the current registrar.
DNS controls where visitors and email are directed. It should be reviewed separately from both hosting and registration. Tell us which parts you want to move so the plan covers the right systems and avoids unexpected changes to email or other services.
Start with a transfer request
Open Transfers in the paid customer dashboard. Enter the domain, current provider, transfer type, and destination hosting, then describe your website platform and preferred timing. A Hostinger website can be reviewed through the same flow as a website at another provider.
The request creates a tracked support conversation. It does not automatically copy data, charge a transfer fee, submit a registrar transfer, or change DNS. The team first confirms the scope, required access, eligibility, any fees, and an appropriate schedule.
Copy, test, then arrange the change
Keep your current hosting and domain registration active during the review. A migration needs an appropriate backup or secure source access, enough destination capacity, and a way to check the copied site before visitors are sent to it.
For a WordPress site, review pages, media, administration, forms, and any store or membership functions after the copy. Sites receiving orders or other updates may need a final data synchronization close to the agreed change. The timing depends on the application and its activity.

Keep transfer credentials out of ordinary messages
Do not put passwords, private backup links, or domain authorization codes into the initial request. Support will arrange a suitable method for access when it is needed. Describe what access you have without including the secret itself.
Registrar transfers depend on the domain extension, current registrar, and transfer eligibility. We review these before proceeding. Keep the registrant contact information accessible so the domain owner can receive and respond to any required confirmations.

Can I transfer a website from Hostinger?
You can request a managed migration review for a Hostinger website. Support checks the site, available access, destination plan, and migration requirements before scheduling the work.
Will submitting the form change my DNS?
No. The form creates a review request and support conversation. DNS and registrar changes are coordinated separately after the scope and timing are agreed.
Do I have to move my email?
No. Select the option to keep your current email provider and mail records when requesting the transfer. Email migration can be planned separately.
Is the transfer automatic or guaranteed to be free?
No. This is a managed request process. Eligibility, scope, fees, and timing are confirmed before work proceeds; the form does not perform an automatic transfer.
